HK Trip 2nd Day, The Ocean Park and Victoria Peak

Second day, we went to the Ocean Park. As we got there before the open time, there were a lot of people. We were just waiting in the line, hot sun heated and the people sweated. At the day before, weather cast forecasted rainy and cloudy day, however, the whether was so hot. We regretted that we did not put on sun protection cream. I was relly burned that day. Despite of hot weather, Ocean Park was really fun.

The exciting riders were good and their aquarium was also great. I had never seen it before.

In the 3rd floors aquarium, I could watch sharks and rays’ swimming. The rays’ face looked like they were smiling. It was cute. We ran around in the park. It was an enjoyable place. The seaside sight were great.

My friend and I met two pandas in the park. The pandas were big and little dirty. They moved very slowly and their movement were so cute. I bought a Panda doll because I fell into the cuteness of the panda.
After we used almost of our energy in there, we came back to the Admiralty station to go Victoria Peak. Although we were very tired, time was insufficient. We had left two days, one of the days went to Macau. We had a strong coffee and took some rest near to the staion, we went the Victoria Peak.

Victoria Peak tram station was terrible. Huge crowds were there. The reason was that all of Hongkong guide book recommended that is the most famous  place in Hongkong. We waited more than 2 hours to take the tram. We wanted to come back, but we already purcased the tram and sky terrace ticket at the airport. If we gave up the peak tram, we suffered a big loss of our time and money. At the end, we took the peak tram.

The night view of Hong Kong was beautiful. Nevertheless, there were too many people. In the sky terrace, no space was to stand to watch the great view comfortably. It seems to have felt that it is not worth taking the inconvenience because beutiful night view is common in Seoul. I see it everyday.

The other problem was returning. Although we purchased returning ticket, waiting line to take the tram got longer again. We could have waited more than 2~3 hours again, but we had not energy left. We wanted to return our hotel as soon as possible, so we took a taxi and paid through the nose. The police, who met at the Victoria peak, said that taxi fee would be about 100 HK dollars. Taxi drivers asked 250 HKD and the other driver wanted 200 HKD. We felt foolish, but there was no option for us. Though we payed a lot, we reached our hotel quickly.
