Hongkong Downtown & Tsim Sa Chui : HK Trip 3rd Day

Third day, we looked around Hongkong downtown.

We got tram, it was excited. I admired old skill of the tram, it was still great. We took off from the tram at Causeway Bay. In guide book, it was a famous place. However, we disappointed little, we wanted some old monument not shopping center. There are a lot of shops: luxury goods, Sasa cosmetic multi shop, IKEA, and so on.
We decided to move after having a lunch. We got a famous restaurant for a fried rice, but we made a mistake to order. We did not see fried rice in the next page, we ordered some steamed rices. My friend ordered beef tendon and she scared to see it. Because beef tendon was not a part which Koreans ate. My menu was a salmon, it was better than hers.

We had half of them and also felt bad to watch the bills. They requested service fees and tea prices. We did not ordered a tea and their tea was just two plastic cups of teas. We felt their ask unjustifiable. My friend was upset and she got away the guide book to recommend that restaurant.
After unwell lunch, We moved to the Central station to take Star ferri. Before taking the ship, we found the longest escalator at Central station. It was disappointing. We thought Korean’s 5 to 8 lines subway escalator were longer than it. We drank a cup of coffee at the Pacific coffee to take a rest. And we go to Star Ferri. Star ferri was excellent!

Tsim Sa Chui was so so. It was too many Korean shoppers at the Harver City shopping mall and Heruisan juice shop. We also bought two cup of mango juices at there. And we met a Bagladecian, who sold fake luxury goods. We were little scared, but my friend were took many requests to buy some fake luxury goods. We followed him to the secret office. There were many foreigners: Bulgarian grandmas, English men, the other travellers and us. She bought a wallet for her brother and I could not buy anything because of little money. I liked some watches, they did not take credit cards.
We walked around Heritage 1881 and some places and moved to Monkok station. I wanted to buy Xiaomi’s stuffs. I predicted that Hongkong market sold some Chinese moblie goods. We got many electronic shops, there was no Xiaomi goods. Instead, there were lots of Korean goods: Samsung, LG. It was impressive but my plan to buy some Chinese mobile goods was failed. I gave up the purchase and wanted more famous place. But the traffic jam was terrible. We walked over 15 minutes. It was hot and dampish.
We looked around Tianhau temple and got a unknown restaurant. Their waiters did not speak English and Chinese. They spoke only Cantonese. We coincidently found real local restaurant. We had a fried chicken and a macaroni soup. These were delicious.

At last, we looked Temple street night market. There were Xiaomi batteries, which I found. My friend negotiate the shop owner very well and I could but them with good prices. We looked around more and returning to Star ferri. We had not left any energy and money. Fortunately, then was the time “Symphony of light”.

It was not special, but it is better than the night view of Victoria Peak. We took Star Ferri again and returned to our hotel.
